NYSED Standards

  • SR.E.1 Some viruses cause disease and can be transmitted from an infected individual to an uninfected individual through various means.
  • SR.I.3 Individuals who are infected with STD/HIV may not have any signs or symptoms but can transmit the infection to others.
  • SR.I.7 STD can be transmitted by sexual contact with an infected individual or from an infected mother to her infant before or during birth.
