'Disease Prevention' follows Carlos on an adventure around his neighborhood as he encounters different types of disease and situations that present the risk of being exposed to diseases. Students will learn about different types of disease, strategies to avoid them, and what to do if they feel unwell. This lesson answers the following questions: -How can I avoid the spread of diseases? -What is the difference between communicable and noncommunicable diseases? -How does bacteria affect the immune system?  This lesson is for grades 3-5.  How can I teach my students about cleanliness?
