"Caring for Your Body''  follows Chioma, Rachel, and Liam as they learn about how to create a healthy and balanced lifestyle with habits, exercise, and dietary choices. Students explore how to live a long and healthy life by taking care of their bodies.  This lesson answers the following questions:  -How can I start eating healthy? -What are the recommended hours of sleep? -What are the health benefits of exercise?  This lesson is for grades 6-8.  How can I teach my students to care for their bodies? In this lesson on caring for your body, students will learn about the health consequences of poor sleep and eating habits and discuss alternatives for a healthier lifestyle.   How do I talk to my child about health and fitness? If you are a parent and want to talk about healthier food alternatives, healthy sleep habits, and how to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, this is the lesson for you!
