"Child Trafficking Awareness'' (Texas version) follows the story of Miley as she struggles with being at risk of being trafficked. In addition to learning about the different types of child trafficking and how to stay safe, students learn about the characteristics of unhealthy or harmful relationships, the social impacts of sex trafficking, and the importance of reporting suspected sex trafficking.  This lesson answers all questions from the original ''Child Trafficking Awareness'' along with these additional questions: -What are the emotional impacts of sex trafficking? -What are some examples of safe havens? -How can I report suspected sexual abuse?  This lesson is for grades 9-12.  How do I talk to my students about reporting sexual abuse? In this Texas version of Child Trafficking Awareness, students will learn about ways of reporting suspected sexual abuse involving themselves or others. In addition, they will learn about the importance of communicating suspected abuse to a trusted adult.  How do I talk to my child about grooming?
