"'How Vaping Affects the Body'' (Texas Version) follows Karina as she experiences negative reactions as a result of vaping. In addition to learning about the risks of using vaping products, students will identify resources that help to get help with the use and misuse of drugs.  This lesson answers all of the questions from the original ''How Vaping Affects the Body'' along with these additional questions: -Where can someone seek help if struggling with drug misuse? -What organizations can help with substance abuse? -What are the short-term and long-term consequences of vaping?  This lesson is for grades 6-8.  How can I talk to my students about where to seek help for substance abuse? In this Texas version of How Vaping Affects the Body, students will learn to identify the symptoms of substance abuse as well as where to seek help.  How do I talk to my child about the consequences of vaping?
