"Teen Dating Violence" (Texas version) follows Ellan and Cassie as they face conflicts in their relationship. In addition to learning about the different types of abuse and healthy conflict resolution strategies, students learn about perspective-taking skills to determine when they should end a relationship. Students also identify what is sexual exploitation and explore the importance of reporting dating violence to a parent or trusted adult.  This lesson answers all questions from the original ''Teen Dating Violence'' along with these additional questions: -How can I avoid teen dating violence? -What is sexual exploitation? -What are some effective communication methods?  This lesson is for grades 9-12.  How do I talk to my students about sexual exploitation? In this Texas version of Teen Dating Violence, students will learn about the concept of sexual exploitation as another form of abuse, as well as strategies for avoiding unsafe situations.  How do I talk to my child about teen dating violence?
