"Eating Healthy" follows the story of Josh as he learns about the fundamentals of healthy eating and nutrition. Students will practice identifying healthy eating resources in their communities and evaluate their ability to make healthy eating choices for themselves.  This lesson answers the following questions:  -What are the five food groups? -What should a balanced meal include? -Why is it important to eat healthy?  This lesson is for grades 3-5.  How can I teach my students to eat healthy? In this lesson on eating healthy, students will learn about the importance of establishing a balanced eating routine, the impact unhealthy food has on their bodies, and ways to create nutrition based goals in their own lives.  How do I teach my child healthy eating habits?
